WHITE BARKED EUCALYPTUS

Significance of tree

It was standing on its own, and the bark was smooth and shining white. Brown knots and bark surrounded the foot of the tree, and no roots strayed above the ground. There were no love carvings or signatures in the skin, only round, thick and dusty spider webs. It looked like a home for lots of animals, spiders, cockatoos, Galahs, beetles, ants and crickets. The leaves looked young, bright and healthy, and a few bugs eggs were glued to them too. It looked like a home.
