I drove along Alexandrina Drive, from Yarralumla to the yacht club, everyday for about 9 years on my way to work. I had 2 favourite trees on this road – this is my 2nd favourite (my favourite is a bit closer to the yacht club end, but it has a huge ant hill at its base. It fell over at one point, but started growing again and is almost upright now). My granddaughter helped with the rubbing because the trunk is really big, and the tape wouldn’t stick.
