Significance of tree

The tree I have chosen I can see through the window when I sit at our kitchen table. It’s leaves sway slowly in he breeze, I often watch them whilst day dreaming. Or when I am thinking about what to write (including now). I have dyed fabric with these leaves for a patchwork art piece I made remembering my late husband Adrian Miles. I also used his old shirts to patch with. For another work my friend Siri photographed me under the tree and the patchwork, its edges merged into the dropped leaves.
